You are a member of the Pollet Team and we want to thank each of you for your help in getting to where we are today. Last night’s election results are a testament to the power of a volunteer based grassroots campaign. That deep base of support comes from years of Gerry’s work with our schools and neighborhoods, lading major environmental and consumer protection efforts, teaching UW students, and doing a great job serving the 46th District and the State in his first year in the Legislature
As a member of our team, you know how it all adds up:
You put a yard sign up in your yard, or + You walked around your neighborhood telling neighbors about Gerry, or + You helped out at one (or several) of our mailing parties, or + You went on line or mailed a check, making a generous contribution, or + You talked to people at work about Gerry, or + You helped Gerry get an important endorsement, or + You waved a sign for Gerry at one of our 6 locations, or + You invited Gerry to your house to meet your neighbors, or + You made phone calls encouraging voters to support Gerry, or + You sent emails to your list to explaining the importance of this race, or = A Decisive VictoryToday is a day for celebrating. But tomorrow we have to get back to work. Not all the primary ballots are counted yet AND this is just a practice run for the real vote in November. Because of you, we had such a great result despite being outspent by tens of thousands of dollars.
Gerry’s message is clear and voters are responding well to it. However, there will be more than twice as many voters casting ballots in November. These are the folks we need to start talking to about Gerry’s values, experience, and vision.
Help us start the next phase of this campaign on solid ground:
- Please donate and pledge to give once a month – that’s just four donations. Click here.
- Please ensure that your yard sign didn’t “disappear” – let us know if you need a new one.
- Please join us for our Wednesday afternoon volunteer parties (anytime from 12:30 – 3:30pm)
THANK YOU!
Gerry, Janet, Eileen, Hank, Iris, Ryan and Alec
